Administrative Assistant Vice Principal Jobs Vacancy in Upper Grand District School Board Guelph Jobs Details:
The Upper Grand District School Board invites qualified applicants for this full-time temporary position. This position will start as soon as possible with an unknown end date. This is a 12-month position.
LOCATION: John F. Ross Collegiate Vocational Institute
SALARY RANGE: $24.70 to $30.87 per hour (Rate effective Sep 1/18)
HOURS: 35 hours per week – 1.0 FTE
The function of this position is to perform secretarial and clerical duties in the office of a Secondary School. Specific responsibilities include:
- Student attendance processing and field trip paperwork
- Staff absences, SDS, SEMS and timesheets
- Student Maplewood database
- Formatting and running Maplewood reports and report cards
- Assist in the completion of monthly enrolment reports
- Duties assigned by the Office Co-ordinator-Secondary, Principal and/or Vice-Principal
Applicants must have an O.S.S.D. or equivalent, including or supplemented by courses in keyboarding (minimum 50 words per minute), as well as proficiency in spelling, punctuation and grammatical usage. Applicants should have good organizational skills and the ability to accept responsibility and to work independently. Excellent word processing skills and expertise in the use of Word, Maplewood and SDS systems are required. The ability to handle contacts on the telephone and in person with tact and courtesy is essential.
