Assistant Client Services And Administrative Support Jobs Vacancy in University Ottawa Ottawa Jobs Details:

Position Purpose

Manages the logistics of the In-house Training sector. Coordinates the communications needed to plan and carry out in-house training projects. Enters and verifies the sector’s financial data in Banner. Answers inquiries from client companies. Performs administrative support tasks and duties to ensure smooth-running operations.

Essential Qualifications

High school diploma or, preferably, a postsecondary degree or equivalent experience
Project management experience and the ability to complete multiple tasks rapidly
Experience in the use of computer systems and software (Banner, Word and WordPerfect, Excel, email and the Internet)
In-depth knowledge of and proven experience with the administrative operations of websites
Excellent interpersonal skills; strong focus on and practical knowledge of customer service in a competitive, self-funded environment having a direct impact on the University’s reputation
Initiative, flexibility and strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Knowledge of the university setting would be an asset
Ability to perform daily physical tasks (handling notebooks or boxes of materials)
Mastery of French and English (spoken and written)

Temporary assignment or contract of 12 months, with possibility of renewal.
