Required Skills


The Administrator, MBS is primarily responsible for preparing loans that are ready to be submitted to Computershare. They are also responsible for auditing and uploading registered charges to be transferred by FNF.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that their auditing of files are on par with MBS auditing guidelines
  • Answer external and internal email inquiries from FNF
  • Ensuring that a minimum of 50 files of registered mortgages are audited in a day
  • Outline any discrepancies that may arise from auditing the registered mortgages
  • Research and problem solve on discrepancies that arise
  • Downloading completed transfers from portal and updating the information within our systems.
  • Resolving discrepancy reports from Computershare
  • Submitting RFFs and performing Title Searches
  • Special projects as assigned by Management

Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong Problem solving and research skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm focus during hectic periods
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute and meet team goals and objectives

Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience
  • Mortgage experience an
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel an asset

Working Environment and Physical Demands Analysis:

  • Office environment, quiet to moderate noise levels.
  • May involve prolonged periods of stationary position/sitting while performing computer work interchanged with bouts of non-stationary work with stakeholders or external contacts.
  • Regular periods of multi tasking which will include speaking to internal and external customers, in person, over the phone or via email while referencing data or reporting.
  • Periods of high volume with tight timelines
