A day in the life of a Case Aide
Under the supervision of the Team Lead Supervisor, you are responsible for transporting children and youth for family access visits, attendance for appointments and other miscellaneous transportation requests as requested by the social workers in the various Child Welfare Programs. The Case Aide is scheduled to fill these service requests within a 7 day work week schedule. You may be required to complete incident forms and carry out other related duties which will help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Regional case Aide and Transportation services Program. You will provide support, ensures safety and provision of basic child care.
What makes a great Case Aide
Three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience. You must be able to travel in responding to various work site locations.
Pay Grade: TE 10
Salary Range: $1,288.00 - $1,456.00 Bi-Weekly
This is a bargaining unit position initially restricted to current civil service employees represented by the Nova Scotia Government Employees Union (NSGEU).
