Position Highlights

ICBC’s Human Resources department is seeking a professional Administrative Assistant to undertake a six month temporary

assignment, located out of our Head Office in North Vancouver.

We are seeking a proactive individual with sound judgment and diplomacy who can anticipate needs and take action on a broad

range of administrative tasks. You will work as a member of the divisional Administrative team providing assistance and

supporting divisional needs.

As an Administrative Assistant, your duties will include the following:

  • Supporting the Chief Human Resources Officer in the management and coordination of operational tasks;
  • Providing administrative support to HR Managers and broad support to the HR department;
  • Providing general administrative support including coordinating meetings and extensive calendar management; preparing
agendas, meeting minutes and following through on required action items;

  • Assisting with onboarding of new staff members and ongoing performance management tasks; and
  • Financial oversight including payments of expenses and invoices, ensuring proper coding and tracking of departmental spend.
Position Requirements

You will have several years of recent administrative experience along with demonstrated relationship building skills,

organizational skills, diplomacy, attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to take initiative

and respond quickly to matters in a fast-paced working environment. Superior skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint are

required. Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
