Junior Billing Clerk Jobs Vacancy in Mcmaster University Hamilton Jobs Details:
A contract opportunity exists for a Junior Billing Clerk at Regional Medical Associates to May 10, 2019. The Junior Billing clerk plays an important role at RMA by entering Physician’s billings into our systems and following up on claims with missing information. The primary duties and responsibilities are generally as outlined below.
Data entry of physician billing claims to be submitted to OHIP
Corresponding with MOH, Physicians and their support staff to obtain the correct patient information, then updating the information on various RMA systems
Patient follow-up for Health Card eligibility
Scanning and filing of various billing forms and reports
Hospital rounds for billing pick-up
Assigning referring Physician billing numbers and diagnostic codes to claims
Other duties as assigned by manager
Knowledge of OHIP Schedule of Benefits for physicians is preferred
Medical Office Administration diploma or equivalent highly desirable Hours of work
35 hours per week, normally 8:30 to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Wage range: $17.43 to $26.16 per hour
This position is in the Unifor 5555 RMA bargaining unit.
