As an Administrative Support III, you will carry out administrative activities in support of departments/programs, the interdisciplinary team and/or other stakeholders. Your key responsibilities can include completing patient registrations, scheduling of appointments, processing referrals to services as well as validating and inputting data. Your additional responsibilities may also include maintaining waitlists, preparing bank deposits, generating reports and various documents and correspondence, completing timekeeping, ordering supplies and assisting with a variety of general clerical activities in support of operations.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.Additional Required Qualifications:
Key Boarding-2000 key strokes per minute with 80% accuracy rate. Medical Terminology Certificate. Computer applications pertinent to the position. Job shadowing. In person and virtual (e-learning) training including but not limited to Annual Education Courses, AHS Privacy and Confidentiality training.Preferred Qualifications:
Medical Office Assistant, Unit Clerk Specialty-preferred. Minimum one (1) year experience within the last two (2) years in a health care medical office. Experience in the following multi-patient care computer systems: ARIA, AXON, Netcare. Experience in computer systems including, MS Office (Windows, Excel, Outlook). Experience with verification and validation process of the Medical Record. Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills. Excellent critical thinking.
