Sales Development Program Edmonton Jobs Vacancy in Emco Corporation Edmonton Jobs Details:

Are you looking to launch a career in business? Are you intelligent, enthusiastic and hungry for career success? Our goal is to hire an entry level individual with high sales and entrepreneurial potential and develop you in a hands-on program.

Our Strategic Development Program teaches new teammates with little-to-no industry experience every aspect of the business. You’ll spend your first 12 months in the Profit Center learning exactly how the business operates – from shipping and receiving, counter sales, to operations management. Then you’ll get to know our customers, growing a sales territory of your own by being out in the field engaging customers to provide world class customer service and building customer loyalty.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Phase 1 – Warehouse Logistics – Learn the products we sell and how they get from the vendor to the customer and understand the role of sales support.

Phase 2 – Operations – Get involved in our customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more…

Phase 3 – Inside Sales/Project Management – Go from helping customers with various customer service issues to managing large-scale projects.

Phase 4 – Outside Sales/Account Management – Learn how to find new business opportunities, sell our products, negotiate contracts, and build customer and vendor relationships.

Job Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Education preferred
  • Positive attitude and results oriented mindset
  • Work well in and support a team based environment
  • Work well with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driver’s license with clean abstract
  • Ability to learn and apply teachings quickly
