Ubisoft is seeking a highly talented, self-driven, detail-oriented and creative Web Data Analyst to support its Web Analytics functions. The analyst’s primary role will be to use Adobe Analytics and database technology to support web commerce and marketing teams in implementing successful marketing strategies and tactics.
The analyst will closely work with the web data and insights team, commerce, and web producers as well as with teams across the company including Uplay, Audience Management, Media, Brand Management, Digital Marketing, CRM, Business Intelligence and related Analytics Teams.
Ubisoft seeks high-performing individuals with analytical minds and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ideal candidates are self-starters who can manage their time effectively and educate themselves while contributing to marketing investments performance.
Work closely with commerce marketing teams to report on key metrics, identify trends and opportunities across channels, campaigns and consumer segments, and provide solutions for their analytic and KPI requests
Ensure tagging correctly measures web performance
Provide data analysis on insights and recommendations on driving effective campaign outcomes against goals, objectives, and spend
Develop and maintain dashboards based on KPI’s of the business
Develop ad hoc reports based on business questions
Engage in "root cause" analysis to assess changes in metrics and underlying causes and provide recommendations for improvement
Assess the impact of various initiatives and measure results. Provide recommendations for improvement as necessary.
Document reporting process and report uses, providing initial training and occasional support to reporting users.
Create, manage and distribute data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting utilizing analytics tools and reporting/analysis platforms (Tableau, SQL, Adobe, Excel, and others)
Bachelor degree in a technical or quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering)
2+ years related experience including hands-on expertise in performing and delivering quantitative analyses.
3+ years online marketing experience
Demonstrated success presenting web reporting in a commerce and/or marketing context (both qualitative and quantitative) in a clear and compelling manner that inspires action
Knowledge of Adobe Analytics is preferred, with advanced capabilities in Tableau and/or Excel - experience in programming and in SAS, SPSS or comparable statistical modeling tool is a plus
Experience developing dashboards based on business KPI’s
Ability to derive insights from web data
Handle fast-paced and challenging job demands.
