Secretary Musculoskeletal Program Positions Jobs Vacancy in London Health Sciences Centre London Jobs Details:
This position reports to the Manager of the Musculoskeletal Program and provides administrative coordination to the South West LHIN Musculoskeletal Rapid Access Clinic for spine, hip and knee patients. You will work closely with the primary care , clinical assessors and community referral sources to provide timely access to musculoskeletal assessments across the LHIN.
Rate of Pay: $22.537 per hour - $24.160 per hour
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent acceptable to the Hospital
Successful completion of a diploma in Medical Office Administration
Experience in surgery office (minimum of 6 months, preferably in orthopaedics)
Minimum one year recent, related job experience
Advanced scheduling and coordination skills
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word,Excel and PowerPoint), Outlook, Cerner including PowerChart
Knowledge of Access to Care Wait Time System
Advanced skills in triaging patients needs with respect to access to service providers
Demonstrates proficiency in time management and organization skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate information accurately and professionally
Demonstrated time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize in a setting of competing demands from multiple sources
Demonstrated thoroughness and advanced attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work independently using above-average levels of initiative and discretion
Excellent customer service including patience, sensitivity, good judgement, discretion and confidentiality practices
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as an effective team member
Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
