Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Medical Terminology, Medical Office Assistant, Unit Clerk Specialty and/or Post-secondary education applicable to the position. Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum one (1) year experience within the last two (2) years in a health care medical office setting or in the Admitting/Registration Department. Experience in the following multi-patient care computer systems: Clinibase, eClinibase Scheduler, Netcare, Person Directory, EMPI. Experience in patient/client scheduling. Lead clerk experience in Admitting/Registration. Customer Service Experience. Experience in an office setting. Critical Thinking. Attention to Detail.
