Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).Additional Required Qualifications:
The incumbent must possess: A high degree of working knowledge of Microsoft programs including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Publisher, as well as some experience or initiative to learn other programs specifically Filemaker and Adobe Suite programs. Advanced training in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Training in database management. Qualifications: 5 years or more of intermediate-senior administrative experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to think critically, problem solve complex issues, and prioritize effectively to meet objectives. Demonstrated experience in collaboration, coordination, and negotiating with multiple stakeholders. Innovative and able to work independently in a fast paced changing environment. Excellent organizational and time management skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree preferred. Additional training in position related software e.g. Publisher, Visio, People Soft, e-people, Websites (Drupal), RefWorks or Reference Manager software, PubMed, etc. is an asset. Previous experience in a medical/academic setting would be an asset. Experience or education in research and/or epidemiology is an asset.
