Intent of the process
This process may be used to create a pool of qualified candidates to staff similar positions at the Office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court of Canada with varying linguistic profiles, security profiles, and tenures.
Note: Persons employed at the Office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court of Canada may be screened, assessed and appointed before other applicants.

Information you must provide
A covering letter in 4,000 words (maximum) "Cover letter (4,000 words maximum) demonstrating how you meet all essential screening criteria (Education and Experience) in addition to any asset criteria you may possess. CV will serve as a secondary source to validate the information in your cover letter"
In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
Experience in the registry operations of a Court, a Tribunal, a Board or a Commission
Experience in examining legal documents to ensure compliance
Experience in applying and interpreting procedures and legislation
Experience in a case management and document management systems
If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)
Experience in coordinating hearings, including liaising with various sectors and external clients

Bilingual - Imperative (BBB/BBB)
Information on language requirements
Knowledge of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Canada and the Guidelines for Preparing Documents to be Filed with the Supreme Court of Canada
Ability to analyze, synthesize and extract information from documents
Ability to deal with heavy workload, deadline pressures and determine priorities
Ability to provide recommendations to management
Ability to communicate effectively orally
Ability to communicate effectively in writing
Attention to detail
