As a Coordinator I, you will provide a variety of support to projects, project teams or program initiatives within AHS. You will also provide efficient and effective systematic administration, tracking and reporting of all assigned major and minor projects with a focus towards scope, cost and timeline control. You will ensure completion of projects and program initiatives within timelines and budgetary restrictions by tracking, monitoring, verifying and documenting project and initiative plans.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary diploma in a related field or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Intermediate to advanced use of MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype/Lync. Accurate keyboarding skills, excellent grammar & proof reading skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially strong engagement and networking skills. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Basic knowledge of project management tools and templates. Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills; able to apply these skills at a systems level. High degree of professionalism in dealing with urgent requests, sensitive information and conflict situations. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work on a dynamic team and handle competing demands in a fast-paced, challenging and changing environment. At least 2+ years’ experience working on a multidisciplinary team within a Healthcare and preferably experience working in disaster psychosocial environment. Proficient in gathering requirements for new reporting requests. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high pressure / high demand situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of AHS Psychosocial training and education tools e.g., Psychological First Aid Skills for Psychological Recovery training, E-Prep, HeartMath. Trained to add and manage MyLearning Link courses. Experience with SelectSurvey, SPSS. Well versed in AHS payroll and finance systems Markview. Knowledgeable with AHS processes for CPSM, Knowledge Management, IT, MyLearningLink. Experience coordinating conferences and large education/training sessions.
