Through collaboration and consultation with stakeholders, this position is responsible for influencing culture change through continual representation of the quality management body of knowledge in strategic program development, influencing change management approaches in development and implementation of new programs and improvement initiatives, and for facilitating the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives related to service improvement, patient safety and accreditation standards. The successful candidate will develop and maintain strong working relationships with administrative and clinical leaders at the site, sector and zone level. Specific job duties vary by site assignment and geographic location.

Professional level QI toolkit: body of knowledge, process skills, and tools. Bachelor's degree; equivalent combination of education and clinical experience may be considered. 5 years’ experience in healthcare or related sector. Some experience and involvement with QI initiatives. In-depth knowledge - expert level - of QI toolkit, processes, and tools. Documented evidence of formal training in QI. Demonstrated leadership skills, especially in leading multidisciplinary and complex QI initiatives.
