What is the opportunity?
The Account Service Representative, Delivery and Control Operations is responsible for receiving deliveries at Loading Docks from Couriers, counting parcels received and prepares items for processing. Prepares, sorts, and dispatches incoming and outgoing parcels. This position supports Centre/Staff by taking ownership of problems and escalations and ensure that all responsibilities are carried out within Service Level agreements, whilst ensuring privacy, security and accuracy is applied to all Administrative Support activities.
What will you do?
Receives deliveries from loading docks from couriers and counts parcels received and prepares items for intake
Opens work in priority order based on the specific needs of each Processing Department
Checks all outgoing manifests to ensure deliveries go to the correct Courier office.
Identify & document Courier errors & servicing gaps.
Completes fulfillment activities as per established policies / procedures / guidelines
Actively partners with their Manager to develop skills and proficiency on designated capabilities identified for the role/business through Development plan activities and career planning discussions.
100% accuracy with the receiving of all incoming Pickups and Sort Room work
Work in a high paced deadline driven envioronment with a team of 2-6
This is a Night shift position; Must be available to work Nights- Saturday to Thursday 11:30PM to 730AM
Position is casual; hours will fluctuate 15 to 30 hours per week
May need to lift and move containers as required up to 40 kg
Must be able to stand 8 hours
Must wear safety shoes at all times
Previous experience in shipping / receiving / logistics / warehouse.
Technical expertise with MS Office software
Must be comfortable working under security camera coverage
above average verbal and written communication skills
