- Position Title: Clinic Receptionist, Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic
(located within the Brampton Civic Hospital)
(part-time contract, approximately 5.5 to 16.5 hours per week)
- Available: June 2018 to August 2019, with the possibility of extension

We are currently seeking a self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented individual with exceptional customer service skills for the contract part-time position of Clinic Receptionist.This position will work at the Naturopathic Clinic at the Brampton Civic Hospital which is the first naturopathic teaching clinic in a hospital setting in Canada. Reporting to the Clinic Administrator, this person will provide a friendly and invitational atmosphere at the reception desk and ensure that each visitor is attended to in a pleasant and efficient manner upon entry. Working with the Clinic Administrator you will: answer and direct calls; check voicemail and respond to messages in a timely fashion; book and schedule appointments; greet all visitors and customers with excellent customer service; and provide assistance to practitioners to meet operational requirements. This position will also provide back up to the Clinic Administrator as required. This position will be working 1 to 4 shifts per week. The anticipated hours will be 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm Tuesday to Friday.
- Experience working in a medical reception or administrative position
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and superior customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with various computer programs including MS Office
- Detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work well within a team
