Terminal Technician Etobicoke Full Time Jobs Vacancy in Amtote International Inc Canada Etobicoke Jobs Details:

Terminal Technician, AmTote International - Etobicoke

Provides on-site maintenance and repair of electro-mechanical wagering terminals located at racetracks, off-track betting parlors and other locations. This is a full-time position requiring shift work including days, evenings and weekends. Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Troubleshooting and repair, of all Terminal equipment associated with AmTote’s service.
  • Follow Terminal Preventive Maintenance schedule set forth by management.
  • Provide installation support for new locations.
  • Constructive interaction with AmTote customers and co-workers in a high-pressure environment, geared towards all aspects of AmTote service operations.
  • Responsible for ensuring designated shop and work area is clean and well organized.

Prerequisite Skills/Experience

  • Basic familiarity with PC maintenance.
  • Experience with basic maintenance and repair of electronic and mechanical devices.
  • Good understanding of PC-type operating systems, specifically Microsoft Windows 95 and Microsoft NT Operating System, including basic file management, directory structures, and command line operation.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including job-specific software technologies, to facilitate communication with customer and systems support personnel.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 40 pounds, and to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Education

Post-secondary computer-related studies preferred or A+ Certification in related field.
