Who are we seeking to join our team?
We are currently seeking a “Human Resources Coordinator” to join our team at the North York head office .
You will contribute to the team by performing the following:
Source qualified candidates for our three main locations: Ontario, British Columbia and Quebec (via advertising, job fairs, internet recruitment, word of mouth, etc.);
Develop advertisements when required;
Screen and review applications; conduct phone interviews;
Obtain required documentation to process background checks for prospective hires;
Prepare offers for successful candidates who successfully meet all requirements and pass compliance;
Arrange for the first-day orientation with the appropriate manager;
Communicate and advise on recruitment initiatives and provide reports on recruitment status, and develop and maintain pipeline reflecting potential candidates’ progress to management as requested;
Assist the HR Manager with day-to-day HR activities, such as creating employee digital data, filing, generating reports, preparing onboarding packages, etc;
Create and maintain employee digital data and profile in the company HRIS – BambooHR;
Other duties as assigned.
What do you bring to the team?
Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or HR related field
Minimum 3 years of previous experience in technical recruitment
Must have solid understanding of telecommunication industry
A strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook, along with the ability to use an Applicant Tracking System
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to prioritize
