Robust AML compliance reporting on key performance and risk metrics; as well as; onboarding technology (Fenergo) management along with infrastructure enhancements are a critical success factors for the GBM 1st Line AML Transformation Program; as well as, the GBM Onboarding function. In collaboration with various stakeholders group within GBM and the bank, this role supports the enhancements, upgrades, project execution related to the onboarding technology and development of metrics analytics to drive continues improvement related to operations.

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Supports the development of strategic roadmap and execution of Fenergo technology initiatives to enhance GBM Onboarding’s technology platform in collaboration with GBM Onboarding team, GBM Customer Data Program, IT&S technology partners, vendor as well as other stakeholders.
Plans and executes specific GBM AML 1st Line projects as assigned by collaborating with cross functional teams in achieving the multiple objectives on timeline, cost and scope. Ensure transparency, stakeholder alignment, and sound project risk management
Proactively addresses gaps, identify opportunities and leads changes for streamlining or automating end to end processes and controls to enhance the project and program delivery
Supports on-going reporting of onboarding metrics to regulators, executives, business and operations area to ensure timeliness, completeness and accuracy in adherence to the bank and GBM policy and procedures, as well as regulatory requirement
In addition to structured project management and execution ability, the incumbent must be able to thrive in a complex program and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in collaborating with the business, support groups, stakeholders, and senior management. These skills, along with the incumbent’s process improvement and change mindset, will allow the incumbent to effectively support the overall program management under intense pressure and high ambiguity.
Leads day-to-day project activities in a manner consistent with the Bank’s risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits. Communicates the Bank’s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout their teams.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Education / Experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial services
University degree in business, computer science, engineering or other relevant field; MBA degree, PMP, Lean and Agile designation or experience is asset.
Knowledge in capital markets and wholesale banking products and operating model is strongly preferred
Highly proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills with strong experience in developing executive level presentations
Fast learner, strong analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities to frame and structure complex issues effectively and develop insights and recommendation.
Change agent with high energy, demonstrated strong ability to work under pressure, deal with ambiguities and uncertainties, and drive for result
Strong communications, organizational, project management, and planning skills
