Job Duties / Accountabilities:
Design and create engineering specifications/plans/drawings and determine the appropriate equipment/installation needs
Analyze the job requirements and assess technical scope of job
Create, conduct and/or validate site survey/job design information
Create and validate detailed cost analysis to include material lists and installation costs
Work with internal and external groups and/or provide them support
Modify various company databases and technical documents
Essential Qualifications / Competencies:
Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Network X and/or other design software
Knowledge of SAP
MS Excel Intermediate (updating/upgrading spreadsheets)
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, capacity to make decisions
Capacity to cope with various changes in procedures and priorities
Motivated self starter with a proven high capacity to learn
Precision in the execution of the job
Strong organization and work planning
Innovative and creative attitude to simplify resolutions research
Strong team focus and willing to take on new challenges
Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:
Intermediate MS Word & MS PowerPoint
Knowledge of the Access Network, Outside Plant Locations Records and Facilities/Assignment a definite asset
Knowledge of IPAIRs and TARs
Ability to work in a very fast paced, ever evolving job environment
Willing to take on new challenges and solve problems with minimal direction
Office environment, hours of operation Working hours between 7:30am to 5:30 pm
