The Senior Data Analyst provides advice, recommends and develops performance measures interfaces and liaises with clinical networks and various client groups. The analyst will have knowledge of leading practices and data trends to contribute to the overall improvement of the capacity, quality and processes of the team and Performance Measurement and Reporting (PMR). The Senior Data Analyst works with multiple quantitative data types (e.g., administrative data, survey data, chart information, Waitlist data, Admission/Discharge/Transfer data, Emergency Department data, EMS data, physician performance and quality indicators, etc.) and multiple data sources (e.g., Abstract, Meditech, SCM, Registry, Continuing Care information systems, Emergency Department information systems, AHS DIMR Data Repository, etc.) and is expected to support analytics that integrate data across multiple and complex data sources. The position also supports project leadership and delivery of information to ESCN Stakeholders.

Master's-level education with strong quantitative component in a related field, e.g Community Health or Social Sciences, Health Economics, Biomedical Statistics, Epidemiology , Quality Assurance, or several years of equivalent experience. Experience designing/implementing quantitative research or evaluation projects including data collection tools, sampling and analysis methods. Related experience in a healthcare or research environment. 3-5 years related experience required. Related experience working with spreadsheets, databases and tools for querying integrating, analyzing, interpreting, reporting and disseminating information. Related experience in the application of information techno logy, database and information management. Oracle SQL or other comparable database query and report writing experience is required. Training and experience in statistics that includes knowledge and ability to produce a variety of descriptive, inferential and predictive statistics. Experience in screening, cleaning, linking, creating, modifying and analyzing datasets with a statistical or database-management software package.Additional Required Qualifications:
3-5 years related experience required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
