What is the opportunity?
This role is responsible for managing and leading a team of highly skilled developers to implement Robotic Automation software in support of our NGO roadmap of automating processes to transform how we serve clients and innovate to become a more agile and efficient bank.
The role will be responsible for solution design, development, testing and implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology to ensure RBC maintains its leadership position at the forefront of technology innovation. The incumbent will learn and experiment new automation technologies and build working solutions to address business needs. The role will also support business units and IT teams in transforming business challenges into creative and leading-edge technology solutions while meeting safety and soundness guidelines and ensuring compliance to security standards.
What will you do?
Work closely with business partner SMEs and Process experts to develop and deliver opportunities for automation of processes and support end to end development (including process design and technical development of the end to end solution).
Execute re-engineering and automation projects of varied complexity/scope, work with Sr. Manager Process Automation & Innovation to define approach and focus of structured work, plan, organize, and execute identified project segments, identify and manage risk, ensure work is of highest quality and achieve outstanding partner satisfaction results.
Validate technical configuration: Ensure operation of designed process as intended and migration from development to test and test to production environments through close collaboration with Technology & Operations partners. Support Controller/Operations Manager on management of run-time resources to successfully integrate target and existing automation and workflow processes.
Design RPA solutions in accordance with standard RPA design principles and conventions while meeting RBC technology standards along with configuring new RPA processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
Report status, issues and risks to tech leads on a regular basis.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders ensuring collaboration, professionalism and cooperation against scope, timelines and budget.

Lead a team of technical resources leveraging collaboration techniques, Kanban agile management, and industry expertise to encourage innovation, design and strategic thinking.
What do you need to succeed?
Experience working with software to develop end-end solutions and technologically self-sufficient
Experienced in developing and delivering initiatives ‘starting from scratch’
Undergraduate / Post Graduate Degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of IT experience and having good understanding of programming concepts; should be from a programming background on any coding language (preferably .Net and C#)
Strong understanding of targeting Automation environments (Windows, Web, Citrix, Mainframe, etc.)
Proven leadership in driving end to end execution of initiatives to enhance the client and employee experience and obtain business efficiencies
Good understanding of various automation components and features available in Robotics Products
Trained on RPA tools (Blue Prism/PEGA Robotics)
Working with key technology solutions such as PEGA Robotics, Blue Prism, Pega, or similar solutions
