As a Business Systems Consultant, you’ll support end-to-end project implementation throughout the system development lifecycle/application delivery implementation and act as a subject matter expert in both business and technology. You’ll facilitate and participate in ideation and collaborate with a diverse team to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best in class client experience. Enable our technology team to provide a robust response to requests for work from various business and technology partners in a timely and consistent fashion by utilizing a methodical phased approach that can be used in partial and full cycles according to the type of request to establish solution options.
- Understanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with our Anti Money Laundering and Internal Audit business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs.
- Communication and Relationships - Build strong relationships and partnerships with technical team members, clients, vendors and peers. Lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements. Express oneself and communicate with others verbally at an advanced level; recognizing that verbal communication is more than just language - it includes tone, style and structure.
- Client focused solutions- Create client focused solutions within Anti Money Laundering, Compliance, Legal, Governance or Internal Audit that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
Who You Are
- You can demonstrate experience in business consultant experience within a financial institution and executing projects in an expert manner leveraging your 5+ years’ experience. It is an asset if you have exposure and experience within legal, AML, Governance, internal audit focused projects and are able to utilize your SQL writing and reading skills.

- This is a regular full time role with a schedule of 37.5 hours each week. Your hours will be based on our banking centre operations, and you may need to work days, evenings and weekends
