Administration Jobs Vacancy in Financial Corp Vancouver Jobs Details:

We are seeking a professional looking to join a high performing Capital Markets team in Vancouver. The individual will report to the Managing Director of Capital Markets.

    Major Responsibilities
  • Provide executive support including typing correspondence and initiating same within area of responsibility, confidentiality, receiving and screening calls, ensuring communication with departments reporting to the MD of Capital Markets
  • Prepare documentation relating to firm’s corporate matters
  • Provide correspondance with MD’s private clients
  • Handle private new account opening documents and update forms
  • Ensure client requests are handled
  • Act as liaison between the MD and operations department for private clients
  • Book air travel, hotels, catering, car rentals, etc. as required
  • Help in planning and executing capital market events
  • Pick up lunch for MD when requested. Perform other duties as required.
  • Desktop Publishing – create and amend brochures, web pages and advertising. Familiarity with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop & Dreamweaver
    Knowledge and Skills
  • Post-secondary training in administration/business/computer.
  • Related executive work experience
  • Computer word processing and spreadsheet input and analysis.
  • Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Some experience with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop would be an asset.
  • Familiarity with office computers, operating systems and general office environment and other equipment.
  • Able to multi-task and work well with little or no supervision. Organized and neat work habits.
  • Ability to change direction and prioritize workload.
  • Must be easygoing, flexible, and calm.
  • Canadian Securities Course and\or Securities industries experience would be an asset.
  • Must be easygoing, flexible, and calm.
