The Executive Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre in Coquitlam is hiring a permanent part -time Front Desk Agent.
The successful applicant will assume responsibility of providing our guests with a first class experience. This is a part-time position that requires your availability for morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts and availability on Friday, Saturday and Sunday is a must
The ideal candidate for Front Desk Agent will have previous hospitality experience in an environment of similar caliber. The successful candidate must possess the ability to multitask under extreme pressure. Duties include all aspects of a front desk agent, including guest check-ins and check-outs, assisting with concierge inquires, answering the switchboard and taking reservation calls, all while striving to exceed guest expectations.
The successful candidate should possess a positive attitude and interpersonal skills are paramount. Computer/word processing skills are necessary. Fluency in a second language is an asset. Decision making, problem solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
1-2 years front office experience within a hotel environment Experience using Visual one PMS is an asset Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Flexible and able to work under pressure Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written Ability to prioritize with strong data entry and analytical skills Neat, well-groomed and professional with a positive, friendly attitude Extremely high customer service standards Please respond to this post.
