Role

Big Bang ERP is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to be part of our fast-growing team.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Data Entry Clerk will perform a variety of general accounting, bookkeeping and financial support tasks. The candidate we are looking for should be familiar with accounting procedures, have strong analytical skills, be organized,methodical, and demonstrate a capability in managing a variety of tasks.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Participe to the collection calls
  • Track and restore accounting or documentation discrepancies
  • Compile reports/summaries on activity areas
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws

Requirements

  • Currently completing studies in a related field and or post-secondary degree from a recognized University or College required
  • Mastery of oral and written English;
  • Intermediate level of oral and written French.
  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task, be flexible and detail oriented
  • Self motivated and resourceful
  • Discretion in handling confidential information

Skills and Competencies

  • Organization, rigor and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and in a dynamic business environment
  • Service focused with a positive attitude

  • Engaged and eager to learn
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
  • Bookkeeping experience an asset

Position: 1 (Part-time, 20hr/week)
From May 1 until September 14 15$/hour
