Our Work Environment

myZone works in a results-only work environment (ROWE) so you are provided flexibility in setting your own hours and optionally working from home as needed. The Position - Box Office Ticketing Manager in Whistler, BC.

This role is intended for an accountable, self-motivated, organized candidate with a keen interest in customer service, systems development, and event management. You'll be responsible for overseeing our box office ticketing team when it comes to providing superior customer service experience for an upcoming client event set to begin in early February until late March in Whistler, BC. Experience in event management and box office sales is ideal! While this is a temporary position, there is a huge opportunity to gain experience and move upwards within the company as we continue to grow.

Primary Responsibilities:
Train & Develop new box office ticketing hires.

Ability to work as needed in the box office ticket booths on any given night.

Customer Service: fielding general customer inquiries, responding to box office staff inquiries during this busy seasonal event.

Executive Contact Support: Primary contact for the Executive Team when it comes to improving our box office operations.

Requirements of Applicants:
Management experience in an Event Box Office environment or equivalent combination of education & retail experience

Superior people & customer service skills

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Native English / English Fluency is a must!

Strong computer skills: Excel, Outlook etc.

Strong Internet skills: Google Docs, Skype, Search etc.

Extremely detail oriented

Ability to effectively prioritize workflow

Experience with task management and/or project management software

Excellent task and time management skills

Experience with email marketing software is an asset

Work Hours & Location:
First event date starts on Feb 1st and runs until the last day which is currently scheduled for March 31st.

Hours of Operation are from 1pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday, and from 12 noon to 12 midnight from Friday to Sunday.

Anyone in this role will be expected to work full-time for at least 3-4 days per week, up to 10 to 13 hours/day.

Event location: Whistler Golf Club, 4001 Whistler Way, Whistler, BC V0N 1B4

Compensation:
$160 - 200 per daily shift (10 - 13 hours on average)

Position Available:
Training starts Immediately. Event dates are scheduled to begin as of Feb 1st to March 31, 2018. Depending on the weather the event might be extended to early April.
