Administrative Operations Assistant Senrs Jobs Vacancy in Fleming College Lindsay Jobs Details:

The incumbent is responsible for delivering administrative support and project coordination for two Chairs in the School of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences. This includes: anticipating and providing organizational administrative support and assistance to both Chairs, proactively problem-solving operational issues and providing front-line customer service support to faculty, staff and students. collaborating cross-functionally with other service areas to support the Chairs with various academic processes including: curriculum renewal, curriculum verification, staffing processes, start-up issue resolution each semester and assisting with on-boarding new faculty and tech roles. supporting the Chairs with coordination of human resources processes related to Support Staff and Student workers: provides planning and coordination support to assist with managing Tech support functions; and processes appropriate paperwork for financial/purchasing / payroll processes. utilizing a variety of Windows-based software, plans, coordinates and implements Academic Award ceremonies, and provides note-taking assistance as required for Program Advisory Committees.

What We Are Looking For:
A relevant combination of education and recent, related experience working independently in an office services environment, prioritizing, organizing and problem solving own work, preferably in a post-secondary academic environment. Experience providing front-line customer service and administrative support in an automated office services environment and working as an effective team member. Experience using a variety of Windows-based software including spreadsheets, database at an advanced level, word processing, MS Project &Gantt Charts, and Internet browsing applications and administrative applications including management of electronic calendars, purchasing &budget tracking. Strong planning and coordination skills with experience independently prioritizing your own work assignments to meet regular deadlines, and multi task while paying particular attention to detail and accuracy Experience proactively planning activities several months in advance Demonstrated excellence in customer service, demonstrating diplomacy, tact and strong communication skills (oral and written). Experience interpreting information, policies and procedures; providing clear explanations to secure understanding Creative problem solving skills, with experience resolving a diverse range of problems on a daily basis with the ability to identify, anticipate and analyze issues and resolve or redirect appropriately Experience working and dealing with sensitive and confidential information within the context of Privacy legislation.
