Job Summary

O’Brien White is a law firm with offices in St. John’s and Happy Valley-Goose Bay. The Office of Derrick White in Happy Valley-Goosey Bay is presently seeking applications for the position of “Receptionist \ Administrative Assistant.” Applicants should be mature, responsible, bright, energetic and friendly.

Responsibilities and Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to: reception of telephone calls and organizing client meetings; maintenance of a filing system; data entry in financial software; preparation of documents from dictation; management and ordering of office supplies and delivery of documents to outside locations.

Qualifications and Skills

While the following skills are desired, the ability to learn is more important than experience: excellent oral and written skills, meticulous organization and precise attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PDF documents is an asset, as are administrative training or a university degree.
