Our administrative professionals are the heart of our organization and the ones that keep our teams moving. Anticipating the needs of managers and team members, our administrative assistants/coordinators resolve operational, financial and administrative issues before they arise.

We currently have various administrative assistant/coordinator opportunities available within our ministry which are required to provide administrative/financial support services and assist with program delivery. Duties may include:

  • Coordinating information flow by scheduling meetings, organizing materials, liaising with other divisional administrative representatives;
  • Tracking and administering action requests, correspondence and preparation of the briefing materials and other documentation within the unit;
  • Implementing and administering automated workflow and records management systems within the unit;
  • Reviewing and processing invoices, expense claims (Exclaim) and credit card transactions (P-card) ensuring a high level of accuracy;
  • Providing assistance with contract management, human resources and other administration and operational services.
As the ideal candidate you will bring professionalism, initiative, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to working in a collaborative team environment. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to carry out duties in a timely and accurate fashion are necessary to succeed in this position. Extensive problem solving skills and strong computer skills are also required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma combined with 2 years directly related office administration and/or financial experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. Experience with Government of Alberta systems (ARTS, MyAGENT, IMAGIS, ExClaim) and/or accounts payable, grant and contract administration will be considered an asset. Equivalencies will be considered.

Salary

$1,691.44 to 2,066.65 bi-weekly ($44,147.00 to $53,940.00 annually).
