Protection Services Officer

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Protection Services this position will provide an excellent customer service experience by liaising with the public and our visitors, while also monitoring entrances, galleries, and the physical plant to ensure the safety of the collection, visitors and our plant is maintained. This position is also be responsible for ensuring all security procedures, health and safety policies and appropriate legislative laws are adhered to and provide a first response in all emergency situations.
The successful candidate will have well developed customer service skills, directly related experience and advanced knowledge of security practices and procedures as well as well-developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. A valid Ontario Security License as well as an emergency or standard First Aid Certificate is required for the position.
