Director Corporate Partnerships Jobs Vacancy in Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club Inc Regina Jobs Details:

The Director, Corporate Partnerships, reporting to the Chief Brand Officer (CBO), will be a key member of the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club (SRFC) with primary responsibility for generating revenue by establishing integrated partnerships with leading consumer and corporate brands. The successful individual will have a proven track record of proactively and strategically, initiating, developing and nurturing mutually beneficial partnership deals that integrate in-game assets, experiential marketing, digital media, promotions, contests as well as physical stadium assets. The successful candidate will be a respected member of the business community and have experience in collaborating productively across multiple departments and have a network of executive relationships with leading brands and agencies. In addition, they will be a proven leader and coach with skills to manage the entire sales process from initial contact to professional presentations and proposals that ultimately lead to win-win partnerships. Major Responsibilities:

Lead all aspects of the business development process including acquisition strategies, retention programs, asset valuations, relationship strategies, and innovative growth strategies.

Effectively coach and lead executive sales and support teams to identify gaps, new categories, prospect for new clients, deliver effective presentations, and close winning long term relationship agreements.

Develop and manage a strategic, effective, scalable and trackable sales development pipeline.

Develop and implement the systems and metrics to provide ongoing evaluation of key indicators of client satisfaction, program effectiveness and opportunities to scale existing programs and develop new ones.

Be a value-added contributor to the collaborative working environment between Marketing, Game Entertainment, Ticketing, Communications and Corporate Partnerships.

Create and nurture a positive business development culture that coaches and mentors staff and encourages new thinking and new ideas to flourish.

Develop truly innovative and creative approaches to sports partnerships that deliver fresh ongoing opportunities for SRFC and its valued partners

Provide strategic recommendations and guidance to the CBO on all matters relating to corporate partnerships

Create a team focused, collaborative environment among account executives to ensure a productive work environment

Apply and coach with daily metrics to monitor sales performance such as: call volume, closing rates, revenue to appointment ratios, etc.

Responsible for achieving or exceeding the club’s sponsorship revenue targets and proactively manage expenses.

Provide reports/summaries to CBO as requested

Develop and constantly grow a communication database comprised of major corporations, large and medium-sized businesses and targeted team prospects

Entertain clients and prospects at all home games and other events as needed

Work cooperatively and collaboratively with the CBO to champion initiatives and strategies that deliver on our Brand Mission while supporting our Brand Values

Be an active and positive collaborator across all internal departments and a role model for the organization

Miscellaneous duties as required

5+ years of proven highly successful leadership in professional sports sponsorship

Completion of a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree

Intermediate level of computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote

Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and closing deals

Institutional knowledge and deep understanding of the sponsorship industry

An excellent communicator with professional presentation skills

Possess a high degree of poise and professionalism

Comprehensive understanding of marketing, advertising, and branding strategies

Deep knowledge of sports industry

Must possess good mentoring skills

Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays and travel up to 20% of the work time
