Team Assistant Jobs Vacancy in Central East Local Health Integration Network Scarborough Jobs Details:

This position will provide team coverage for all areas of the Scarborough branch and Scarborough branch hospital sites. The successful candidate will be a member of a patient services team facilitating the provision of services to the public through the Central East Local Health Integration Network. Duties will include data input, reconciliation, correction and reporting through an automated computer system; keyboarding documents; liaising with clients and long-term care homes within the community; faxing; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications & Position Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years experience providing clerical assistance in similar or related work situations.

Experience in dealing with the public effectively; demonstrated focus on customer service.

Exemplary telephone skills, legible handwriting, and good analytical/organizational skills to meet deadlines and solve problems.

Ability to work in a team setting; self-directed.

Working knowledge of medical terminology.

Computer skills including experience with word-processing and spreadsheet applications in a Windows-based computer environment.

Work Environment and Hours of Work: Part-time staff hired after June 10, 2014 must provide a minimum commitment to be available for six (6) shifts per month. If providing availability for weekend only, the minimum commitment is four (4) shifts per month. Availability must be provided for all hours of operations. There is no guarantee of hours from the employer.
