Administrative Assistant Jobs Vacancy in Ryerson University Toronto Jobs Details:

The Opportunity:
The Institute for Change Leaders is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative support to the Institute and to ensure efficient and effective day-to- day operations related to Institute for Change Leaders projects.

Responsibilities:
Provides general administrative support

Provides front-line reception for the Institute

Updates and maintains data and information in systems and databases for efficient information storage and usage

Works with Institute facilitators and stakeholder organizations to coordinate meeting times and training logistics

Schedules meetings for the Institute Founder, Advisory Board, Staff, and Facilitators as required.

Tracks training supplies and materials, ordering more as required.

Provides assistance and support to staff ensuring smooth logistical executive of events and day-to-day operations

Records, processes, and reports financial information related to Institute operations and events

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within an office environment

Experience with database applications.

Experience in word processing, document preparation, office procedures/practices, scheduling and event coordination

Strong organizational and administrative skills

Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) as well as administrative, client service, oral and written communication and time management skills
