We are currently seeking a Part-time Operations Support Associate to join our Corporate Services team in Brampton.
Reporting directly to the Manager, Equipment Services, you will be responsible for the development, and implementation of processes in support of the corporate training program for all ES personnel. You will be responsible to assist ES management in monitoring all personnel training and development records, skill assessment and proficiency tests. Develop and deliver training specific to the corporate training program and other areas that may have impact to the ES staff. The Operations Support Associate is also responsible to provide a back up SAP timekeeper function to the ES group and is responsible to track and monitor the ES departmental responses and follow-up for all internal and external Audit observations received by the group. You may also be assigned projects and general administrative work.
Responsible for the development, and implementation of processes in support of the corporate training program and other areas that may have an impact to all ES personnel.
In conjunction with ES regional supervisors and management prepares and maintains work schedules ES staff.
Performs Backup timekeeping functions on an as needed basis
Audit response compilation and follow-up coordination
Perform other related tasks as required
Performs work in accordance with the provisions of the Canadian Blood Services' Corporate Health and Safety Policies and Procedures. Ensures ongoing monitoring and reporting of all occupational health and safety issues in the workplace.
Post-secondary level education, from a recognized academic institution, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training required.
Three years related work experience with preference given to those in healthcare and technology fields is considered an asset.
An acquired knowledge of the operations of regulated environment is considered an asset.
Knowledge of training and adult education is strongly preferred.
ISTP trained is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Excellent attention to detail.
Demonstrated proficiency in group facilitation and presentation.
Demonstrated computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP and Lotus Notes software in a Windows environment.
