The Supervisor recruits, orientates, coordinates the training, supervises, evaluates and coaches employees; monitors operational targets and makes adjustments in daily work to achieve targets; ensures safe work practices and functioning of area equipment; implements and conducts satisfaction and quality audits to promote resident satisfaction and quality services; creates and maintains good communication; implements action plans and manages change. All tasks are to be completed with minimal supervision, and following all applicable policies and standard operating procedures. Supervisors routinely interact with site leaders, dietitians, other health care staff, patients, residents and their families.

Additional Required Qualifications:
Recent experience in a supervisory capacity in health care or commercial cooking. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Computer applications in windows. Strong organizational and creative problem solving skills and contributes and functions as part of a team. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Knowledge and comprehension of dietary guidelines, working knowledge of collective agreements, staff scheduling and quality projects.
