Laboratory Technician Jobs Vacancy in Canadian Royalties Inc Nunavik Jobs Details:
Reporting to the Chimist, the Laboratory Technician is in charge of chemical analysis
operations. The incumbent’s main responsibilities are listed below.
Prepares solutions required to conduct laboratory analyses;
Performs digestion of samples provided by the sample preparation staff;
Ensures basic maintenance of analysis equipment;
Ensures workplace cleanliness and tidiness;
Performs tasks as per analysis procedures and standards related to health
and safety, hygiene and the environment.
Diploma of collegial studies (DEC) in a related field (Specialization in analysis) or
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position;
Experience in sulfide ore analysis using ICP/AA;
Good knowledge of MS Office suite;
Language fluency (English and French).
Definite orientation toward the respect of health-safety and environment rules and
Ability to work within a multicultural environment and team.
Dynamic, autonomous, positive attitude.
Have a scientific spirit with a mathematical sense.
Ability to work as a team member and to conduct a project in an effective manner.
Experience in a Northern context (asset).
Ability to work under pressure.
