As a Family Counsellor, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to clients and their families. You will also provide clinical focused consultation with other programs or community resources and acts as a liaison to develop and promote preventative health programs in the community. You will collaborate with other health care providers and community service providers to ensure a continuum of care in the community.

Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with applicable professional association or college.Additional Required Qualifications:
NURSING: MN SOCIAL WORK: MSW PSYCHOLOGY: MA/M.ED/MSC/PH.D/ED.D OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST: MSCOT 3-5 Years of recent experience in community mental health and/or an acute child psychiatric setting required. Knowledge and skills in assessment, DSM-V diagnoses, crisis intervention, treatment, and trauma-informed care. Strong ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and contribute positively to change in emerging programs is essential.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Children's Services, health partnership initiatives, NGOs, multicultural groups and program development. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Strong client focus, ability to promote teamwork and partnerships. Ability to function in a changing environment. Intermediate computer skills.
